Melissa Auburn writes poetry, essays, and creative nonfiction. She has work published in Abstract: Contemporary Expressions, Pure Slush, and Talking Stick and recently completed a full-length memoir titled “The Artist’s Tattoo.” Melissa is a long-time member of Lake Superior Writers, The Loft Literary Center, and the Association of Writers & Writing Programs. Melissa grew up in rural Minnesota along the waters of the St. Louis River Estuary.
